I am really enjoying the Objects of Attraction series by this author. Give me real life situations that make me hysterically cackle like a chicken and I am one happy camper.
Ryan, who we met in Her Cherry (book 2) working with Hailey, is a single guy, not looking for a mate but trying to set everyone else up with their soulmates. Unfortunately people in his life are trying to set him up with Emily. They actually knew each other in high school which she remembers immediately, while he does not. Neither has the drive to enter into a relationship right now, she is going to Paris and he feels love just isn’t in his future. Can a comedy of errors, orchestrated by their peanut gallery help or hinder their coming together?

This 4 ½ star book had me excitedly turning pages, laughing out loud numerous times as I pictured the antics these friends were attempting throughout the book. Even the hysterical Grammy turns up again at the nursing home. I want her to be my Grammy!!! William, Bruce and the whole gang are front and center in this sideshow of ridiculousness flouncing all other the city trying to “help” Ryan win the girl of his dreams. I can’t wait to see who stars in the next installment, please let it be Lilith.

Again, Ms. Bloom has proven how funny and engaging she can be. In this book we meet all past characters from HIS BANANA and HER CHERRY and get an update on how they’re doing, etc. But we get to see what happens to Hailey’s “helper” Ryan who pushed her into dating William.
Ryan runs THE BUBBLY BAKER now but in his high school years he had been Emily’s partner in Home Ec class, popular jock with obnoxious girlfriend, but things didn’t go well back then. Emily is an artist leaving for Paris to study art in a few months with no time to start a relationship. Can she? Should she?
Oh, the predicaments they find themselves in Ch 5 when Steve helps in the bedroom; Ch 7 Lilith’s conversation about men “thinking w/their dick;” Ch 6 at the “robbery;” Ch 8 elevator mishap and conference room; Ch 11 Nicholas Cage discussion and most especially, (OMG) The After Party and lastly Ryan’s big plan! I could actually go on and on…This is a MUST READ if you enjoy saucy dialogue, HOT events and quirky characters. I so hope we get to see more about Lilith, Steve and/or Stephanie. I volunteered to review an ARC of this book and it comes highly recommended!
This is a hilarious romance between two people who aren't looking for a committed relationship. Most of the humor comes from the supporting cast of characters, primarily William (if you've read His Banana or Her Cherry you'll know who I'm talking about.) Emily is leaving the country in a couple months and Ryan is cursed when it comes to relationships, so neither were looking to get too emotionally involved, but you can't help who or when you fall in love. There are plenty of hi-jinxing going on thanks to that wonder William character. ;) Lots of laugh out loud moments. The story moves quickly and reads quickly. It's a pretty lighthearted and fun and mostly carefree read. Of course there is a little heart break when the inevitable breakup happens, but there is a ridiculous grand gesture that will have you in stitches. We originally meet Ryan in Her Cherry when he helps his friend/boss get together with William. Though these books interconnect, you do not need to read the others to enjoy this book. Though you will enjoy them just as much. (And.. if you read the others, you will appreciate and understand the humor a little more... as some moments are sorta like inside jokes.) There is a minimal of sexual content included, as most of this book is the sexual tension leading up to it. As I said it is connected to the other two books in the series (all of which can be read as stand alone's) so you'll see lots of familiar faces. The over the top characters make these books.
This is the third book in the rom com series Objects of Attraction. Ryan is now in charge of the Bubbly Baker-remember Ryan, who friendzones every girl he meets? Well, his friends have had enough of that, so when William (Her Cherry) has a chance to matchmake, he throws the power of his billions at them. Ryan is actually a pretty normal guy and I enjoyed his banter with artist Emily. Emily and Ryan are both hesitant for different reasons but things heat up later in the story. The strange ones are Ryan's roommate Steve, the Chamberson twins, and Emily's friend Lilith. Oh, and sex-crazed Grammy. At the heart of it all are two people who want to fall in love, not be hurt, and have great careers, too. Can it be done? You bet, and with the silliest help possible.

Book three in a tantalizing series of hilariously sexy, sweet band of misfits roads to love and happily ever after~ Phew!

This time around it's Ryan Pearson's turn, a Bakery owning mastermind, he can throw cupcakes with the best of them- but cannot seem to make a stable relationship happen!
When his "friends" give him a swift kick in the pants toward Emily they are bound and determined to make this work out for him, especially the not so subtle William.
Compatibility is not the issue between Ryan and Emily- it might just be everything else- good thing that happy, rich band of misfits is on the case!

I swear these books are life! A fantastic blend of romance, laugh out loud humor, sexiness, and too many hijinks to count!
Captured my heart from the first page to the very last, I honestly did not want it to end! I walked away feeling a whole lot better than when I started!
Another fantastic book to add the collection I highly recommend by Penelope Bloom!
