Wow! This is one of the most unusual books I have ever read. It is inspirational, spiritual, and surreal. According to the author, Sonia Easley, the book was conceived after a visit to "Body Works" by Gunther von Hagen. The three main characters are Ruby Heart Woman, Noble Nerve Man, and Rolling Thunder Being. My favorite character is Noble Nerve Man. He is the perfect cross between the spiritual and intellectual worlds.The book reads like a story, but offers invaluable spiritual growth techniques, much like a self-help book. The author obviously writes from the soul. This is definitely a book that I will re-read for years to come.

Heart Oriented Thinking explains spiritual concepts using the anatomy of our own bodies. Introducing us to three archetypal characters, Ruby Heart Woman, Noble Nerve Man, and the Rolling Thunder Being, we get a better sense of how understanding the nature of ourselves unlocks the nature of all things.
What a delightful book. It is so unusual; however, I love these characters, Ruby Heart Woman, Noble Nerve Man, and Rolling Thunder Being. I didn’t need a lot of time to sit down and read. I carried the book around and read its wisdom in little bits of snatched time.
Sonia has opened her heart, mind, and soul to explore each of three these aspects more deeply than others. She guides this journey with her observations inspired by the famous Bodies exhibit. Characters in this exhibit come to life as she names them and gives them attributes we can learn from. There's nothing ordinary about Sonia's journey and how she shares it. There's much to learn as she guides all readers to open their hearts, minds, and souls. Her writing is elegant!
This is truly a remarkable book in that you are introduced to beings that embody and exemplify the traits that are hidden within each of us, yet which we too often neglect to foster, cultivate, and enhance. One feels as though one were taken into a secret realm, another dimension, where we can get a glimpse of all the Greatness that lies within us! The instructions given on affirmations and declarations, especially, I found to be thorough and vital to our achieving our hearts' desires and dreams. It becomes clear that without our self-disciplining ourselves every day to utilize these tools, we will fall short of accomplishing our goals. There is much beauty, here, in the language Ms. Easley has chosen to artfully and skillfully convey her impressions of the spiritual world. This book is one that should be kept close at hand for reminding us of the Power we all share to sculpt our lives, and fashion our destinies! A lifetime of esoteric, yet practical, wisdom is to be found here. Heart Oriented Thinking is a novel way of exploring our spiritual nature, and brings to the forefront the necessity for true heart consciousness! Well worth reading!
